As a major provider of food to UK and Irish consumers and an employer of over 10,000 people across 20 operating sites, Northern Foods has a positive impact on the community both at a national and local level.
We have focused our activity to help consumers make informed choices about what they eat.
Our commitment to healthy balanced lifestyles reflect these responsibilities to consumers and addresses the Government's challenge to business through its 2004 White Paper, 'Choosing Health' which states that the UK Food industry should help in changing UK dietary habits. Consequently, we work in partnership with Phunky Foods who have developed a nutritional educational programme for primary schools.
