When we launched the Grassington's Food Co. brand early in 2006, we took a 30 year tradition of making good, wholesome vegetable dishes and created a range of delicious healthier meals designed to satisfy today's consumer tastes.
When it came to developing the brand and our recipes we spent a lot of time listening to what consumers wanted. We confirmed that they are better informed about what goes into their food and that mum's know it's important for their families to eat more vegetables. We also confirmed that an increasing number of people are choosing to cut back on the amount of meat they eat.
Consumers told us that it's not always easy to find food that's convenient, nourishing and interesting. So our aim is to make great tasting food the Yorkshire way - all goodness and no fuss. Whether it's a vegetable quarter pounder or a multigrain vegetable bake, we pride ourselves on producing a fabulous, easy to prepare range of food with the freshness frozen in and with no artificial preservatives, flavours or colours.
We hope that you like the result - a new and exciting way to encourage people to eat more vegetables. Grassington's is a range of frozen meal accompaniments and main meals, which are sold through most of the UK's major retailers. Products include vegetable quarter pounders, spicy bean burgers, cauliflower cheese and cheese and onion crispbakes.
