Fox's biscuits began in 1853 when Michael Spedding made his first batch of Brandy Snaps in a small Victorian bakehouse in Batley, outside Leeds.
Today, we still make Brandy Snaps in Batley - the difference is we make over 100,000 tonnes of wonderfully different biscuits every year and you can buy them pretty much everywhere in the UK!
At Fox's we make all sorts of seriously scrummy biscuits, from what goes in your biscuit barrel to the much more grown-up indulgences that we know some of you hide when you get home. From our ever popular Viennese Melts and Chocolatey Shortcake Rounds, to chocolate biscuit bars such as Rocky and Classic, and from 'biscuit barrel' products such as Creams to our delicious seasonal assortments such as Speciality and Wonders.
We make our biscuits at three sites - Batley, Kirkham and Uttoxeter - employing over 2,500 people in all. Since 2009 we also now have a commercial office in Slough.
As well as making the Fox's brand we also produce a wide range of own label premium ranges for major UK retailers, wholesalers and independent retailers.
Since 2008, our 'Vinnie' advertising campaign has helped take the Fox's brand to a wider audience, including online campaigns alongside TV, radio and in-store. In late 2009 this campaign was joined by the British Biscuit Advisory Board (BBAB) campaign for Rocky.

With over 150 years of history our values and standards are as strong as they have always been. Right from day one we were infatuated with the idea of giving pleasure to our customers. We are proud of coming from a different era - after all it was an era when the pursuit of pleasure was a legitimate art and when hands-on craft skills and best quality ingredients were more highly valued by makers of food than they so often seem today.
